Family, Flavor & Tradition

I opened Mazzi’s in 1970, inspired both by my father—Tommaso “Mazzi” Ernandes, who came from Favignana, Sicily—and by my family’s love for cooking.

After graduating from the University of Oregon, I wanted to share the recipes of my life with the Eugene community. Many of our recipes come straight from my family’s kitchens, and we’ve always believed in using the freshest, finest ingredients.

Our bread is baked daily, we make our pesto from basil grown right here on our local family farm, and all of our fresh pastas are made in-house with attention and care.

When you dine with us at Mazzi’s, we hope you feel as if you are in our home, enjoying a meal that represents history and heritage to us. Thank you for being a part of our tradition—we hope to see you soon.

A Eugene Tradition

We’ve seen first dates turn into wedding toasts, and guests who grew up coming to Mazzi's now bringing in their own families. What makes Mazzi’s special isn’t just the food—it’s the people who keep coming back.

After 55 years, Mazzi's is a piece of Eugene's culinary history, and we're glad you're here!
